A large share of "the unit won't turn on" calls trace back to a failed capacitor or a burned contactor — we test with a microfarad meter and swap the exact part that failed.
Blower Motor & Fan Repair
Weak airflow or a burning odor at the vents often means the blower motor is drawing high amps or the bearing is failing. We test motor windings before recommending replacement.
Thermostat & Control Board Troubleshooting
A bad control board or an out-of-calibration thermostat can look like a major system failure when it's actually a $200 fix — we rule these out early to avoid overselling repairs.
Refrigerant Leak Detection
Using electronic leak detectors and dye tracing, we find the actual leak point rather than just topping off refrigerant, which only buys a few weeks anyway.
Ignition & Gas Valve Service
On the heating side, we test ignitor resistance, flame sensor microamp readings, and gas valve response before condemning a furnace — a dirty flame sensor is a five-minute fix, not a new furnace.
